Jenn Richter is a design-driven Creative Director with over a decade of agency art direction, content & strategy experience.
I'm an Art Director, Swiss-type obsessed Designer, Diet Coke queen — and all around visual storyteller. I started my career at Leo Burnett Chicago's Department of Design and was their youngest AD/Designer ever hired, at first working on Coca-Cola's "Coke Side of Life" campaign.
Following that, I worked at Condé Nast and Wunderman (now VML) in NYC, where I designed Dockers.com + Levis.com plus the "Go Forth" campaign with Wieden+Kennedy. After moving back to Chicago I continued freelancing at ad agencies like FCB, R/GA and VSA Partners until joining Ogilvy as Associate Creative Director. I have 13+ years of experience leading campaigns and brand content at ad agencies, content, digital and design studios both in freelance and full-time roles. In between freelancing and full-time roles, I lived in Copenhagen running a fine art gallery on Jægersborggade in Nørrebro while working with FØRM Portfolios to curate a Jens Risom capsule collection entitled "Risom Rooms".
Working primarily in editorial content and advertising for cpg, lifestyle and luxury brands, my work has spanned the gamut from raising brand awareness through omni-channel engagement, building brands from the ground up, art directing campaigns, designing brand identity systems and packaging, apps and interactive experiences, to telling brand stories through the stopping power of photography and film.
